Quick screenshots

Taking a screenshot on your Windows PC is as simple as pressing the Print Screen (PrtSc) key, which copies the image to the clipboard so you can paste it wherever you want to use it. You can capture just the active window by simultaneously pressing the Alt key.

On Apple’s Mac it’s a little more complicated, but also more powerful. Press the Shift, Command and number 3 keys simultaneously, and the image file of your screen will be created and placed on your desktop. If you need to take a screenshot of a selected portion of your Mac screen, you can do that too. Simply press Shift, Command and the number 4 key, then your mouse pointer will change to a cross. Now click the left mouse button while dragging over the portion of the screen you want to capture. When you release the mouse button, the file will be created and saved on your desktop.
