The latest flagship in the Samsung fleet is set to be the next business powerhouse

SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE 10 AND 10+ – It’s been eight years since Samsung launched the first Note, and boy, has it grown. While that original ‘phablet’ (now a defunct term) sported a 5.3-inch screen, the Note 10 and Note 10+ measure 6.3 inches and 6.8 inches respectively. We’ve tried the new models, and while the larger one strained our thumbs, the regular Note 10 felt just right in the palm. Samsung has, at least, whittled away the bezels around the AMOLED display, resulting in a 93.2% screen-to-body ratio that’s a little easier to reach into.

Photos from the front-facing 10 MP camera look great, and the triple-lens system is similar to the S10, combining a 12 MP wide-angle lens with variable aperture technology, 16 MP ultra-wide lens and a 12 MP telephoto lens with 2× optical zoom. Pictures are packed with detail, and are possibly the sharpest of any phone available in South Africa.

There’s no shortage of processing grunt, with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of built-in storage, while Samsung says the 3 500 mAh battery will keep you going throughout the day and into the evening, largely thanks to the efficiencies of the new Exynos 9825 chipset.

The Note 10+ additionally benefits from a DepthVision camera system for improved AR, expandable storage, a bigger battery with faster charging, and more RAM – but it really felt like a beast. The Note 10 was what struck the perfect balance between comfort and clout.
